Orders are processed within 48 hours of placement. Once your order is processed, the order cannot be canceled. Most deliveries take 3-10 business days after shipment. Actual delivery time depends on shipping distance, availability of the ordered item(s), and the shipping method you choose. Shipping is available only to addresses in the United States at this time. Shipments cannot be delivered to U.S. military bases, P.O. boxes, and destinations different than the billing address. Orders must be placed and credit approved no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern / 11:00 a.m. Pacific for shipping to occur within the next two business days if the item is in stock. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time with prior written notification.
If you are not completely satisfied with your art print purchase and (a) the packaging has not been opened, or (b) your art print purchase is defective, it may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of receipt. Original shipment and handling charges are not refundable, and you will be responsible for all costs associated with the return shipment. In order to cancel your order or if you have received a defective item, you must first contact our Customer Service at (561) 302-3249 during normal business hours for replacement/refund information. Customer Service will assign you a return material authorization number (RMA#) that must appear with the return shipping address. Returns without a valid RMA# will not be accepted. Original shipment and handling charges are not refundable, and you will be responsible for all costs associated with the return shipment.

About the Artwork
Urban Weather is a dynamic abstract painting that captures the pulse, movement, and layered atmosphere of the city. Vertical forms rise and fracture across the canvas, suggesting towers, windows, scaffolding, figures, and passing reflections. Cool blues, turquoise, grey, and white create an architectural rhythm, while bold orange, yellow, red, and purple accents bring heat, motion, and emotional charge.
The surface feels scraped, weathered, and alive, as though the city has been built, erased, and rebuilt through color and texture. Rather than depicting a specific skyline, the painting evokes the sensory experience of an urban environment: traffic, rain, light, construction, memory, and constant change.
Why I Painted It
In Urban Weather, I explore the city as a living atmosphere rather than a fixed place. The painting reflects the energy of urban life: movement, interruption, density, and surprise. Layered vertical marks suggest architecture and human presence, while scraped passages and expressive color fields create a sense of weather passing through the built environment.
I’m drawn to the way cities hold both structure and chaos. They are shaped by steel, concrete, glass, and light, but also by emotion, memory, rhythm, and daily human movement. Through layers of color, texture, and gestural mark-making, this work becomes less about a literal location and more about the feeling of being inside a city that is constantly shifting.
The contrast between cool blues and greys with warm orange, yellow, and red speaks to that tension: calm and intensity, shadow and light, erosion and renewal. Urban Weather invites the viewer to experience the city as both landscape and mood.

Janice Savage is a contemporary abstract artist based in Delray Beach, Florida. Working primarily in acrylic, she creates richly layered paintings that explore memory, movement, light, and the quiet tension between order and spontaneity.
Each painting develops intuitively through a process of building, scraping, obscuring, and revealing layers until the work arrives at its own visual equilibrium. Rather than working from a predetermined image, Savage allows each composition to evolve through continuous dialogue with the canvas. The visible surface carries the history of every decision made beneath it.
Her visual language is deeply influenced by the landscapes that have shaped her life. Growing up along the Long Island Sound in Mamaroneck, New York, she became fascinated by changing skies, shifting tides, weather patterns, and the constant movement of water. Now living in South Florida, she draws equal inspiration from tropical light, expansive skies, and the vibrant coastal environment. These places appear not as literal landscapes, but as emotional memories translated through color, texture, and atmosphere.
Savage's work explores themes of resilience, transformation, and persistence. Through layered abstraction, she invites viewers to slow down, look more closely, and discover their own narratives within each painting. No two viewers experience the work in the same way—a quality she considers essential to abstraction.
Her paintings have been exhibited in juried exhibitions and regional galleries and are held in private collections. She continues to create original contemporary abstract paintings from her Florida studio, believing that the most meaningful work emerges not from certainty, but from the willingness to remain curious.
