Bonni Farber is a semi-abstract, mixed media painter, working in South Florida. With an insatiable need to express herself with paint onto canvas, she creates a calm and zen feeling. There is never a time in her life that she could find this peace without painting being part of the process!
Her technique is to paint large areas of shapes across a canvas in mainly neutral colors. Carefully she selects a theme of nature to begin a new application of a story-to-tell. It could be a theme of butterflies, dragonflies, flowers or whatever catches her eye at a particular time. It may be an original theme with a visual language that will work itself into the previously placed neutral foundation.
