.5” Classic Frame: Using only the finest materials and wood for our stretcher bars, your canvas art print is mounted on a classic lightweight .5” frame. This showcases your canvas art print using minimum depth on your wall and provides a sleek appearance. 1.5” Premium Frame: For a more dramatic gallery effect, our heavy duty 1.5” stretcher bars give you the best presentation of your canvas art print. This premium frame is especially beneficial for large size prints to help prevent warping due to tension and environmental conditions.
Mirrored Canvas Wrap: This popular choice reflects a portion of the front of the canvas image to cover the sides of the .5” or 1.5” stretched canvas frames. This gives a clean, seamless optical illusion that your canvas art print image continues along the sides. White Canvas Wrap: For a clean, crisp effect, a white canvas wrap presents your art print with sides covered in seamless solid white. This gives a frame-like appearance and makes your art print an impressive standout.
Designed for artwork that is printed or painted on canvas, a float frame is a type of frame made to give art the illusion of floating inside the picture frame without touching it, which creates an interesting visual detail and a sense of three-dimensional depth in the overall display.

About the Artwork
Falls is an abstract study of movement, gravity, and release. Cascading blues and whites surge across the surface in layered, expressive gestures, creating a rhythm that suggests water in descent—sometimes forceful, sometimes dissolving into mist. Textural contrasts between thick paint and scraped passages generate a sense of depth and motion, while lighter areas allow space for pause and breath. The work captures a moment of transition, where momentum and stillness coexist.
Why I Painted It
I painted Falls while thinking about letting go—about what happens when momentum takes over and control gives way to motion. I wanted the process to feel physical and immediate, allowing gravity, brushwork, and instinct to guide the composition. The painting became a way to explore surrender as a form of strength, and movement as a necessary transformation. Falls reflects my interest in moments where energy shifts and something new begins.
Janice Savage Art
The painting already knows where it's going. My job is to listen.

Janice Savage is a contemporary abstract artist based in Delray Beach, Florida. Working primarily in acrylic, she creates richly layered paintings that explore memory, movement, light, and the quiet tension between order and spontaneity.
Each painting develops intuitively through a process of building, scraping, obscuring, and revealing layers until the work arrives at its own visual equilibrium. Rather than working from a predetermined image, Savage allows each composition to evolve through continuous dialogue with the canvas. The visible surface carries the history of every decision made beneath it.
Her visual language is deeply influenced by the landscapes that have shaped her life. Growing up along the Long Island Sound in Mamaroneck, New York, she became fascinated by changing skies, shifting tides, weather patterns, and the constant movement of water. Now living in South Florida, she draws equal inspiration from tropical light, expansive skies, and the vibrant coastal environment. These places appear not as literal landscapes, but as emotional memories translated through color, texture, and atmosphere.
Savage's work explores themes of resilience, transformation, and persistence. Through layered abstraction, she invites viewers to slow down, look more closely, and discover their own narratives within each painting. No two viewers experience the work in the same way—a quality she considers essential to abstraction.
Her paintings have been exhibited in juried exhibitions and regional galleries and are held in private collections. She continues to create original contemporary abstract paintings from her Florida studio, believing that the most meaningful work emerges not from certainty, but from the willingness to remain curious.
"I don't paint to recreate what I see. I paint to capture what I feel."
