One needs to experience the peace and tranquillity of the African wilderness to truly appreciate the beauty of its wildlife and rural peoples.
My true passion is art expressing my work mostly in oils. Having lived in South Africa most of my life I have been painting and drawing for the past 35 year and I have found an abundance of material in the unique African wildlife as well as the indigenous people, who possess a quiet yet impressive and very emotive presence. They are dignified with a wonderfully colorful and inspirational aura. The wild animals are equally impressive, regal and quite beautiful in their natural surroundings.
