Moving from the ‘What’ to the ‘How’ and taking it a step farther than I imagine.

The work of Mexican- American artist Cesar Gonzalez is an expression of his conflicts he had as a child, he describes his art as spontaneous. His pieces begin with a memory that inspires an initial idea and he builds on it from there, often taking it farther than he imagine.

Working mostly with acrylics on canvas but has used other materials such a pencil, oils and plywood for his painting. The resulting works technique transformed his images into shapes of colors making you a bit mystified.
