"Early in my childhood, I developed an interest in the visual arts. Starting in 1981, I began to study the fine arts with the master instructor, Gabriel Restrepo, at the Institute of Fine Arts of Medellin. I continued my visual art studies until my senior year in 1986. While at University studying business administration (1990-1996), I participated in several exhibitions with Columbian artists Orlando Restrepo, John Jairo Mejia Vallejo, and Miguel De Santis. "
