Her first years of painting portrayed the pain and suffering of humanity. She received both positive and negative criticism from those who knew her work. Cecilia then realized that she has gone through a long period of consciousness of her own personality. She was aware of her own human drama and realized that all humans participate in their on pain and suffering which can lead to their own destruction or survival!
