“Blue Paradise” is an original photograph printed on canvas, fine art paper, or matte photo paper.

About the Artwork

"Blue Paradise" is an original photograph by Joy Garafola. This image captures the sea's raw, hypnotic beauty, teetering on the edge of a brewing storm. Dominated by a vast expanse of blue, not the serene cerulean of a summer sky but a deeper, more restless shade stretches towards the horizon, where storm clouds gather. There's a mesmerizing tension in a single wave, a battle between serenity and chaos. It stands poised, seemingly frozen in time, before collapsing into the churning foam at its base. The photographer's gaze, however, extends beyond the immediate drama of the wave. On the horizon, storm clouds loom and stretch across the sky, casting long, ominous shadows on the water. "Blue Paradise" is a testament to Joy's fascination with the ever-changing, ever-powerful ocean, a whisper of respect and reverence in the face of its boundless beauty. She says, "The love of sea, earth, and sky has always been my passion, and I strive to capture that essence through photography. I've always been drawn to the wonder of the sea and its untamed beauty." View more of her works by visiting Joy's Art Gallery. Want to see more beautiful artwork? I began my photography journey at a young age and through growth, hardship and inspiration, my portfolio was born. The love of sea, earth, and sky has always been my passion, and I strive to capture that essence through photography. I've always been drawn to the wonder of the sea and its untamed beauty. But, at heart, I'm also a yogi and live a healthy, spiritual life centered around the water.
